I make small pieces of art every day and love to improvise. Often I just look for colours that match or material that itches in my hands as I want to do something with it. I love to work with new materials and try eveything out. Nothing is safe for my soldering iron, my heatgun or even my iron.(with parchment paper on top!)I don't know what boredom is.

Elmer
This elephant card I made for the Fibermail elephant swap and now it has to travel all the way to Australië to Linda.
http://q-linda.blogspot.com/ I love Elmer and it was fun to make.

Publiciteit is altijd leuk.

On vacation in Florida I also made this rag quilt for my grandson Pelle. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that he loves tractors.I bought the application at Jo-ann's.

Fibermail Sampler
Back from Florida.I made 6 blocks there for my Fibermail Sampler.
Have a look by clicking on the link.
Did you see all the blocks on my Picasa webalbum? I have finished 77
now. They are bigger than a Dear Jane. The blocks are 6,5 by 6,5 inch.
A lot of them are made as paper piecing (wow, that was hard to learn!)
but others are made with malla , applique and other techniques like
chenille and embroiderie.
The idea was to make 81 but I enjoy it so much that I am making a few
more even. It will be big enough for a bed quilt than.
It is a project from our moderator from the Fibermail group here in
Holland. If you would like to join you are most welcome! We do
everything via the computer. Everybody reads and speaks English
If you are interested let me know. We have a lot of swaps, mainly
postcards and small projects. Trees, the moderator from this group
came with the idea of a sampler. I never was a traditional quilter but
now I love doing this because every block is different so its never
boring. We get 2 new blocks every weekend but there is no time limit.
You can make some blocks or non at all and in your own time. They are
all in the files so you could start from the beginning if you would
like to do so.
